Venessa "Dr. V" Walker

Healthcare professional, educator, and philanthropist, Venessa “Dr. V” Walker, is a 23-year Miramar resident, by way of Montego Bay, Jamaica. After earning a bachelor's degree from the University of South Florida and a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree from Palmer College at the age of 25, Dr. V returned to her hometown to open Walker Chiropractic and Wellness Center located off Miramar Parkway and Douglas Road. Dr. V is passionately involved in her community and has received numerous local and national accolades for her civic engagement such as Legacy Magazine's '40 Under 40 Black Leaders of Today & Tomorrow', IN FOCUS Magazine's Multicultural Achievers Award, ICABA's South Florida's Most Accomplished Community Leader & "Rising Star," and Florida Chiropractic Association's Emerging Leader. She is a member of the Leadership Broward Class XXXIII and The Links Inc. Dr. V also actively serves as the official chiropractor for Miramar High School and Everglades High School, President/Founder of Owen Walker Jr. Foundation (501c3), and Chair of City of Miramar's Planning and Zoning Board.
